Our placement results set us apart.  For the last reporting year*, 94% of graduates requesting assistance from the career placement department (and 91% of all graduates) found jobs!

The placement department’s focus is the success of our students in their careers. The Vet Tech Institute maintains established relationships with employers throughout Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. Our relationships help the Vet Tech Institute stay in touch with what specific skills employers are looking for in graduates and provides a valuable tool for helping secure employment opportunities.

The placement department’s help doesn’t just start after graduation. As you approach your graduation day, our placement advisors can begin to work with you to prepare for the transition from student to professional by:

· Hosting mock interviews to practice answering those tricky questions.

· Assisting with creating a resume that stands out.

· Assisting in identifying potential employers.

· Polishing your negotiating skills for when you get the job offer.
