As a student at the Vet Tech Institute, located in Pittsburgh, PA, you can: -Earn your veterinary technician associate degree in only 18 months (for those attending full time). -Attend a veterinary technician program that is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA). -Have on-going access to facilities that include a full kennel (housing a range of animals), diagnostic and radiological labs, and prep and surgical rooms. -Spend time at a large animal facility, Hog Heaven, so you can practice working with large animals such as horses, cows, and sheep. -Benefit from the Vet Tech Institute’s student services such as financial aid, housing assistance, and career placement.
