Accreditation
The Vet Tech Institute’s program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA). The Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh was the first school in Western PA to be accredited by the AVMA!

Graduates of the Vet Tech Institute are eligible to take the Veterinary Technician National Exam, which is required to become a certified veterinary technician.
Vet Tech Institute is also accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (www.accsc.org).
