Vet Tech Institute Financial Aid
At the Vet Tech Institute, we understand the fear that you won’t be able to afford your veterinary technician education. To help, we offer, at no additional cost, individualized assistance in developing a financial plan that works for you. Our experience is that almost everyone who wants to attend the Vet Tech Institute can afford it.
Tuition rates do not increase for an individual student each year if the student remains enrolled full-time. Good estimates of costs for residence facilities, books, supplies, and uniforms are included in each financial plan.
There are several types of financial aid programs available for those who qualify:
· Federal Pell Grants
· Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants
· Pennsylvania State Grant
· Federal Work Study
· Federal Direct Subsidized Stafford Loans
· Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loans
· Federal Direct PLUS Loans (Parent Loans)
· Alternative and Personal Loans
· Installment Payment Plans
· Scholarships
Each type of financial aid program has its own set of criteria and rules. Awards can vary based on each person’s and each family’s situation. Some programs require applying by a deadline.
We understand that financial aid can seem confusing and that you want to optimize your financial aid eligibility. You will have an individually-assigned representative at the Vet Tech Institute. He or she can help answer your questions, assist you in understanding applications, and develop an individual financial plan that works best for you.
